How We Accomplish Our Mission:

Worship Together
Ps. 34:3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together!

We value gathering regularly to magnify and worship God expecting meet Him and see Him move in our hearts and lives. This involves:
• Coming into His presence through Prayer

• Bringing honor to Him in joyful and creative praise

• Studying His Word, applying it to our lives, allowing it to change us forever

Study and Grow
Col. 2: 7 “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”

We value and place a strong emphasis on spiritual growth and personal discipleship desiring to become spiritually mature being involved in a Bible Study / Life Group that focuses on:
• The study of God’s Word in an informal setting in Sunday School and Small Groups

• Fellowship among believers

• Expressing love, care and service for one another

Go and Make
Matt. 28:19 Jesus said: “go and make disciples of all the nations”
1 Peter 3:15 “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”

We desire to share the good news of Jesus with unbelievers by intentionally developing loving, caring relationships with others, so that we may engage them and their life context with the claims of the gospel of Jesus Christ in a loving way.
The Holy Spirit is our power to reach:
• Our Jerusalem — Winchester and surrounding communities

• Our Judea — Tennessee

• Our Samaria — anyone different than us

• The ends of the earth — everywhere in the world

Give
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world he gave his only son that whoever believes in him would not perish but have eternal life.”

Because the heart of God is to give, each believer is called to give of themselves and what they have been blessed with in service to others. We give through: acts of service, acts of compassion, acts of ministry, and acts of love. Because we are motivated by His love, we delight in giving: • Our abilities, gifts, talents, and skills • Our spiritual giftedness • Our time and possessions for God’s glory

Serve
Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

We strive to engage our community by promoting genuine love for believers within the church and service opportunities that express our love for others to fulfill God’s command to love our neighbors as ourselves.    • Individuals with spiritual, physical and emotional needs • Participation in the community and in church events
